Oil portrait on canvas by Jan Maurits Quinckhardt (1688-1772). Signed and dated 1744. Shacht (1704-1792) was a philosopher, physician, author, professor at the University of Utrecht & twice its rector. Quinckhardt is held in the Museum van Loon, the Historisch Museum,
Amsterdam, etc.
