George III Shell-inlaid Mahogany Tray
Oval, galleried tray in figured mahogany. The centre inlaid with a large pointed oval with acorns & oak leaves, edged with holly stringing. Outer edge, unusually, cross-banded with calamander. Original brass handles. Fixed to an Edwardian era oval stand with four outswept, tapered legs inlaid with holly stringing.
