George IV Canterbury In Mahogany
An Elegantly Designed Canterbury. Downswept division bars centre a carved leaf-scroll handle. Turned corner columns with leaf-clasped finials above a tapered column & leaf-clasped base. The swept division bars & side rails all supported on clever flat-faced columns carved in silhouette to echo the profile of the corner columns. The legs capped with larger leafy clasps above a short tapered column to original cup castors. The apron drawer lined with mahogany & fitted with quarter-round fillets.
