SOLD: Charles II Court Cupboard In Oak
Rare small size. Extensively carved, the upper stage with leaf-filled demi-lunes flanked by pyramidal bars. Cup-and-cover columns carved with lobes & leafy C-scrolls, a turned ring between. Distinctive arcades with guilloche & leafy spandrels to the central door & flanking panels. The lower stage with arcading above & guilloche to the side rails.The two doors moulded & carved with leaf-filled demi-lunes. The moulding & arcading carried around to the sides. Original hinges & locks. No loss to the feet.Fine colour.
