SOLD: Rococo Gilt Overmantel Mirror
The crest centering a deeply moulded shell issuing flowers, leaves & acanthus scrolls. The base with an acanthus clasp. The oval frame with cabochon, scrollwork & flower heads, a pearl border to the outer edge. The base with a moulded, stepped edge below trellis & flowerhead spandrels within acanthus scrolls. Original mirror plate.
