SOLD: Oil Portrait Attributed To Michael Dahl
Portrait of a Gentleman attributed to Michael Dahl ( 1659-1743). Painted in the oval, the sitter in brown cloak with embroidered collar, a lace stock tied at his neck. In a period, possibly original, gilt frame carved with reserves of flowerheads & leafy tendrils. The inner edge carved with ribbon scroll enclosing lapped leaves.
