SOLD: A Pair Of Nicely Patinated George I Side Chairs In Walnut
Yoke-shaped, back-swept crest rail above a vase-shaped splat. Stiles & splat "ergonomically" shaped to accommodate the back. Edge-moulded seat rail above front cabriole legs with inner C-scrolls to pad feet. Back legs cylindrical extensions of the stiles, but blocked at the joins. Nicely ring-turned & tapered stretchers, the central stretcher with central swelling.
