SOLD: George III Inlaid Bowfront Sideboard
Beautifully inlaid bowfront mahogany sideboard. The top in partial fiddleback, crossbanded with tulipwood. Dramatically figured doors & drawer with satinwood corner fans, all crossbanded in tulipwood. Central arch with further corner fans, the arch edge inlaid with triple stringing. The legs stand on elegant tall spade feet, topped with double ovel fans. The doors enclosing later oak sliding trays. Original brass pulls with lapped laurel leaf & central starburst enclosing a cabochon.
